City Council will consider Resolution 1075 during their April 10 Council meeting on Monday evening. According to the Council Memo, it is " intended to improve the public process..."

This seems incredibly disingenuous in light of the overwhelming public turn-out against Development Agreements for Gig Harbor's most vulnerable area: Downtown.

Months of "public process" against the use of DA's in the Downtown, did nothing to sway the sitting administration's position.  So who DO they represent?

A Dangerous Rise in Development Agreements -- Curb your DA’s. No, we’re not talking about District Attorneys, but rather the propensity of our planning staff to negotiate Development Agreements (DAs) with the owners of substantial chunks of our fair city.
