CITY COUNCIL MEETING | Mon - Sept 24, 2017 - 5:30 pm

Gig Harbor Civic Center | 3510 Grandview Street

The attached Council Memo describes the Mayor's unauthorized purchase of the Masonic Temple. The presence of soil contaminants has yet to be established, but the Mayor negotiated her own $14,000 discount as mitigation obligating the City to any future clean-up costs that exceed that amount. Council is being asked to ratify her actions that occurred on July 12, 2017, during Monday's meeting. (The Council Memo includes the Purchase and Sale Agreement signed by Mayor Pro Tem Rahna Lovrovich on June 13, 2017.)
