The City is hosting an OPEN HOUSE for the Cheney's One Harbor Point Project. It is part of the City's "public input" process for a Development Agreement to exceed current zoning regulations (height, densities, setbacks, etc.) for the Triangle Property off Soundview Drive.  It is not clear how those who oppose the project will be tallied for the record.

Cheney Representatives for the project have produced and are circulating marketing materials that state:

"We have support from Gig Harbor residents for One Harbor Point."

In the absence of WRITTEN INPUT to the contrary, this statement is being used to suggest that there IS no opposition. PLEASE submit your input IN WRITING directly to Senior Planner Peter Katich or send your letter to the City at the address below.  (Note: Realtors and pro-development advocates living OUTSIDE city limits are recognized by the City.  Where you live does not matter.)

OPEN HOUSE | Wed - May 24, 2017 - 4 to 7 pm

Gig Harbor Civic Center | 3510 Grandview Street | 98335

Under current leadership, Development Agreements can be used to bypass zoning regulations in the Downtown opening the door to unprecedented heights, densities, and growth IF 5-members on City Council like it.
